Leopold ("the App") is a piano transcription app that listens through your device's microphone and converts your playing into sheet music and MIDI. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use the App. Because Leopold performs all of its processing on your device, this policy is short — there simply isn't much to disclose.
Leopold does not collect or transmit any of the following:
Leopold requests microphone access solely to capture audio while you are recording a piano performance. That audio is processed entirely on your device using an on-device transcription model. Audio is never uploaded, streamed, or transmitted to any server, and Leopold makes no network requests involving your microphone input.
All recordings, transcriptions, and saved projects are stored locally in the App's private storage on your phone. Leopold does not sync this data to any cloud service. If you delete a project in the App, or uninstall the App, that data is removed from your device. Because nothing is stored remotely, there is no separate "delete my data" request to make — removing the App or its data on your device is sufficient.
Leopold does not share any data with third parties, because it does not collect any data to share. The App contains no third-party analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or tracking libraries.
Leopold does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Because the App collects no personal data from any user, it does not present privacy risks specific to children.
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of Leopold adds an optional cloud feature — this page will be updated with a new "Last updated" date, and any material change affecting data collection will be described here before it takes effect.
